Re: Issues since being laid-up
Don't forget to remove or loosen the fuel cap as Mr Mrs spider may have moved in and be holding hands and blocking the tank breather

Re: Issues since being laid-up
Start by checking the fuel filter is on right and tight. Remove the fuel pipe at the filter that goes back to the tank, gently blow back to the tank to make sure it's good and clear, they have a little thimble filter on the end of the pickup pipe in the tank, these can get restricted or blocked. Onc...

Re: Take a chance? Or run a mile?
If it's rusty the decider would be the suspension mountings and the front and rear crossmembers. These seem to be the scrap it or save it parts, have the metal hoses been swapped as these can add up. Not many bongos at 10 k are mint esp converted, they are knocking on a bit now Best to buy a good ba...

Re: Auto Transmission Pipes Replacement
It's a while ago, but from a bad memory I think we took out the radiator and battery etc to allow for the twisting / refiting of the new one, it's doable , front end up very high makes it easier and as said above do the coolant pipe at the same time.
Good luck.

Take off the front grill then you may see a group of Earth's down low near the drivers side headlight, these are really in the weather zone and usually corrode badly, strip and clean may sort your indicator prob.

Re: Universal Joint" for the lower steering rack.
If it's stiff then the little O rings fitted to each needle bearing pack are letting muck in and lube out. The bearings usually start to stick and get squared off.

Re: E10 Fuel
E10 is out now in the northwest. Look on the nozzle holder for the info. The unleaded e5 is the standard unleaded, now badged as super unleaded, I would use this if in doubt though they are now charging super unleaded prices for the standard (what a surprise). What was the super unleaded is very har...

Like Geoff says earlier, check the wiring that goes from body to tailgate top right of tailgate, number plate lights construction are not one of Mazdas better design efforts.
The wires are inside a rubber boot and usually are broken.

Re: Lound Clunk from Gears/rear Driveshaft/Diff when putting into drive from reverse
Quite common for the props to fail, joints can fail and the splines can get worn on the front shaft.
Lye underneath with it in park and try to rotate and lift the shafts both back and front, it maybe obvious.
