Re: Refurb or Replace - 1997 2.5TD
Yup I agree with Flanners. cut your loses and use your current vehicle as a doner for your new one. +2 from me as well , as much as I love these buses at £ 6-7 k yours seems to have a lot of work to do BUT please get another opinion even though from my experience bongo spares are very honest and fa...

Re: Bus not starting after short spell running !
Hello plonkatronix and thanks for your post I think I can hear the heater plug relay coming on but ill check that with a multimeter . She had ,I believe , air leaking in at the fuel filter bleed screw before but a sealed that with a large rubber washer which cured my last poor starting issue , sense...

Hello Geoff
The bus has been parked behind the house which is level more or less and as far is I can tell it was just under half full of fuel .

Re: Swap open diff for LSD ?
Hello all Just updating this tread After looking at the front and rear prop shafts and replacing the front diff , the knocking noise turned out to be the transfer box so thanks to one supplied by bongo spares it was replaced last Tuesday and I’m glad to report that the noise is no more 👍 Just in tim...

Re: Help! Bongo will only drive 2 mph - after left for 2 months in cold!
To check the brakes simply jack up the bus and rotate the wheels ' the fronts should be completely free and easy to turn , no 4wd The rear will also turn a bit but only if the hand brake is off , you might then feel restatance from the rear diff . If your not confident though get someone who is as i...
