Re: Brake Lights no longer work
Well it won't have passed the last MOT if it wasn't there then! (Well at least one hopes it wouldn't!)....

Re: Brake Lights no longer work
The brake light switch is here 67-210 http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=4300B&cat=a2ajra0a&vin=&imgno=.html#8 I would check the lamps first, undo the bolts and slide the housings out to the side to get at the holders etc. http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=5110A&cat=...

Re: NE / Crank sensor
The NE Sensor is shown as being 2 wire; 1997 Page_28 I think you will find all the NE (Crankshaft) sensors will be Variable Reluctance type, the Cam shaft (B4-18 or B4-21) sensors are also magnetic but might be of the type where the magnet is on a disk/gear as they are built into the distributor on ...

If anybody has had a problem downloading the .EXE versions of the program since Mid-Jan 2012, the problem has now been fixed, and the .EXE versions can be downloaded, the .ZIP versions were not affected by the problem (A server motherboard change was the initial cause of the problem. ).

Re: Blown/ Failing split charge relay system - howto trace f
The signal to operate the Charge/Sediment comes directly from the alternator and it isn't used for anything else - so the alternator has to be the most likely culprit. I've not heard of any high discharge situations causing the lamp to come on, but you might try putting as much load on the batteries...

Re: HELP: new reversing sensors beeping when they shouldn't
You might find Mike that there is a power/sensitivity control in the unit ? If one unit has been replaced it may be taking less drive from the output and leaving the other one over driven and causing the problem.

Re: HELP: Interior light LEDS glow faintly when off
If the master switch is in the OFF position then, if they really are glowing then it must be a fault within the switch unit. 1997 Page_100 The Door switches won't even be connected at that point... However do bear in mind that LED's will reflect back out (unlike filament bulbs) any other light that ...

Re: Silly question but how do I change a fuse
There are two fuses for the Rear Demister, the large 30 Amp (PAL male) which actually handles the power to the heating element, http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/hotspots/x03-17.jpg there is also this smaller (Miniblade) 10 Amp that handles the switch and relay; http://www.g8dhe.net/bwm/hotspots/x03-9.jpg Th...

Re: Is this a faulty ECU?
Yup the H-04 one doesn't feed the Speedo so that would make sense that there wasn't any change, I think its the C2-03 sensor that needs looking at. Not quite sure where that is placed exactly, there is one sensor here 21-5H2; http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=1920A&cat=a2ajra0a&vin=...

Re: Is this a faulty ECU?
Just noticed that your a Year 2000 vehicle, so the diagrams may not be correct as they only cover 95-99, but I wouldn't think that the display console will change much.
