Re: Quick starter motor connection question. 2.5 TD
hi, Not got a north Japanese model but i believe they have twin starter batteries, is it possible that one of the heavy duty leads comes from the second battery?? If it is the case i would disconnect the winter battery lead and just use the main battery one. I may be way off mark here, so hopefully ...

Re: me again, pole and clamp or figure of 8?
I use a full length fig of eight (1piece)£8or9 from caravan shop.put cling film on gutter and this protects the paintwork no marks job done Cling film? I'll give that a go, might help with looser fitting fig of 8, one piece length, might stop that annoying trip onto the bed when opening the door. a...

Re: me again, pole and clamp or figure of 8?
hi deedee, i've got an Navigator combi also, have used both pole and clamp and figure of 8, both have their pro's and con's Pole and clamp ; clamps can be a bit of a pain to get over the pole and under ths canvas, and can be difficult to get tightened sufficently, i have put shrink tubing over the c...

Hi,
I think you will need to be a bit more specific or even better try to get a picture posted of the item or area you mean.
Whatever you do consider not driving the Bongo, until its sorted, last thing you want is a possible cheap fix turning out expensive with an air lock in the system.

Re: Belts Alternator & aircon
I might be wrong here so correct me anyone. I think the belt sizes are: Aircon belt size; 1000 x 13mm, Alternator/ waterpump - 1090 x 13mm. The toothed belts do not require as much tension to grip the pulleys than the standard v belts, and so dont put as much strain on the bearings. Dont know whethe...

Re: Roof issue
we all need a little help raising it sometimes, most of us leave the tent zips undone to reduce the tension as the canvas/vinyl reaches full stretch.

Re: IS IT JUST ME!
might be wrong but have you checked the engine bay fuse-box 4th one down 15A, just looked on the wiring diagrams and front and rear lights look like they feed of that fuse.
I also noticed the fuse marked tail on Simon's post, might be worth trying that first.

Re: Connecting Haydn low coolant sensor
ok i see. well could be one thing less to worry about then. still keep regular checks on water level and not wait till it goes off. better to fix a small leak before you get a bigger one

Re: Connecting Haydn low coolant sensor
if you've got a Willinton kit fitted, the live connection from the liesure battery will go to the negative side of the fuse terminal of the fuse you have removed to fit Willinton kit to fuse box. So you will have the positive side of the removed fuse terminal still on switched live from the ignition...

Re: Leaking radiator drain plug
is it leaking from the little protrusion from the side of the drain plug? I think its for slowly draining into a bucket before removing plug completely, i had a drip from here even though the plug was tight, possibly a bit of debris in the seal, anyway i just found a short machine screw of suitable ...
