Re: marques

Had a long think about this. Background: When we kicked the North West up the backside just over five years ago we identified the need for acentral meeting place at meets. I loaned my business marquee initially but eventually sold it to the NW 'fund'. The fund is VERY unofficial but has been saved u...

Re: Service - Bongo

Probably the /nearest/best service/maintainance centre to you is Wheelquick at Wigan. Plenty of endorsements through this forum.

Another possibility is Charles's on t5he A6 between Garstang and Caton.

Good luck

Re: Noise at 50 mph

Manifold Studs? nonny nonny Manifold Studs??? Sound like an old fashioned push lawn mower. Sounds off when accellerating...disappers when you easy off the throttle. Sounds like its coming from the front wheels? My garage first thought was the turbo bearings. Simple to diagnose/fix. Search on here fo...

Re: The 4 Godfathers

Cheers Alan. The top photo was set up for (un)favourable comparison with a similar 'group' shot at the NW Big Autumn Bash five years ago. Maybe one of our techies can find it in the archive? The four of us got our heads together to give the NW region a kick up the backside as all the action was eith...

Re: Late Night Security - thanks for your cooperation.

Thanks for all the positive back up peeps. Apart from that one incident I really did have a great couple of evenings wandering around. THANKS AGAIN for making the security job so easy. A couple of thoughts: Not sure if wandering around in pairs would solve the problem....more likely to be seen as co...

Re: Things i lost at the Bash

I've got your mug Baz.

Left in the Marquee after the auction.

I'll keep it safe in my shed.

Late Night Security - thanks for your cooperation.

Over the past few years there have been complaints about late night noise around the site. Most of us have suffered some disturbance from loud voices or even quiet music, the sounds of which carry a heck of a long way, particularly on a still night. With past history in mind I was a bit trepidacious...

Re: A Big Thanks...

Here I still am playing with my dongle.

Weather too ruddy hot to sort out the van.

Lots of happy, sleepy peeps packing away.

Thanks again for a great weekend.

Re: The Big Bash Auction

Well peeps...another great result Thanks must go to: My lovely assistants Chell and Baz without who I'd never have managed. All of you who either donated items or paid the extortionate commission. Everyone else who purchased buyers cards or simply came to watch. The idiot who gave me grief a 12.30 o...

Bongonaughts in disguise

Passing Jo & Chris's (Pixie & the Moon's) house today and there's a ruddy great campervan jammed in their driveway. With a bit of luck they won't be able to get the doors of it open far enough to get in. Mind you...there was a very sad looking bongo parked across the driveway entrance. Proba...

Geocaching at the bash

Weather permitting I'll be off on my bike doing local geocaching on Saturday morning. About 10 miles on paths and roads....down to Stourport..up the other side of the river to Bewdley..then back to the campsite. If anyone would like to join me they will be very welcome. Meet at reception at 9.00am. ...

Lots of lots keep rolling in.....don't miss out on some real bargains. Registration of lots is on Saturday afternoon (see bash info sent to participants) at the main marquee. Secure overnight storage available. If you are going on the trip on Saturday afternoon you can also register lots before the ...
