Re: Watermouth Bay near Ilfracombe 3-5 September

Dave and Jeanette, welcome to the Wanderers Weekend! We certainly don't mind an ex-Bongolier, because that's what Bob and I are!! We had our Bongo for four years and had some wonderful times in her but we found we needed more space, for various reasons, so at the beginning of this year we moved on t...

Re: Our holiday in Cornwall in pics

Glad you enjoyed Cornwall, I realise how lucky we are to live here, and all those lovely places you photographed are in easy visiting distance for us. There are still loads of places you could visit if you come again - I especially like all the little unspoilt fishing harbours and coves. Mo.

Re: Watermouth Bay near Ilfracombe 3-5 September

Hi Jillygumbo, we'd love to have you along if you can make it. I shouldn't think you need to rush to book for September, schools are just about starting back and it should be quieter, there was plenty of room when we went in September last time. I would like to know who is going because I will ask D...

Re: Devon/Cornwall 5 Day Trip – Itinerary Advice

Just a few ideas to get you started: I speak for Cornwall so must mention Falmouth - nice little town on the banks of the river, two lovely beaches, lake, docks. St Ives - Tate Gallery, beaches, harbour, narrow cobbled streets, full of history Truro - interesting little city, beautiful cathedral Ede...

Re: Day Meet, Falmouth - Sunday 13th December 2009

Great photos Alison, really shows people how pretty Falmouth is. I think Swanpool next time would be ideal, and it's such a lovely walk to Maenporth, though at about 2½ miles each way there are some who won't be able to manage that. Hope your week has improved now. Hope to see you at Nadelik on Sund...
