Re: 3,000 mile trip round Europe....

It's a nice run through Germany, Austria, Hungary and Romania. Done it before in a Shogun, but fanc...

Re: V6 Airlift suspension kit
Would I be right in saying that putting the Bongo on axle stands (if literally placed under the rear axle) would not allow the suspension to be unloaded. I guess the vehicle could be jacked on the axle and then the stands placed somewhere else (the scissor jacking points for example?)? To start wit...

Re: V6 Airlift suspension kit
I bought an Airlift suspension kit a week ago to support the rear end on my V6 which was a bit wallowy when fully laden on undulating roads. My local reliable garage tried to fit the kit but stopped because they were not happy with the fit. I then contacted a garage in Eastleigh that state they wor...

Re: Hill Power
My V6 has been having probs lately with power loss, this seemed to have been sorted by a new set of HT leads though. Picked up my brother from heathrow on thursday and noticed that the few climbs I had to do along the M4 I was losing power, it was almost as if it would not change into gear and my s...

Re: Breathalyser now required in France?
I have just heard from a friend that this year it will be a requirement to have a breath testing kit in any vehicle driven in France. Does anybody know if it is true? it sounds ridiculous but knowing how good the French are at finding new ways to fine people (especially the English) it is p...

.............that'll last for longer than 1500 miles. :? That's how long I got out of the ones fitted to my Bongo earlier this year before they started knocking. So who's currently supplying the best quality front drop links? Are the Blueprint ones from the club shop worth the money? what about pro...

Re: Modifying the temperature gauge compatible with the 2.0L
The whole reason for wishing to increase the sensitivity of the temp gauge is to be able to see when the thermostat is working correctly and also to give you indication of when something is going wrong. By default, the standard gauge will get to a position mid way and then just sit there. If you do...
