I blanked mine off today but did several other things as well - the bongo felt a little fitter following but nothing ground breaking.
I would guess cleaning out the inlet manifold might help and with the EGR blanked off, it's less likely to get gunked up again.

Changing glow plugs hot or cold engine?
Hello all.
Is it best to remove the old glow plugs with the engine hot or cold.
I ask because I hear they can shear off.
Also, If they do shear off, is it a major job to sort out?

Thanks for the replies - It's good to know they come out easily. We sometimes need all the room we can get - Have had 2 x motocross bikes, gazebo, pressure washer, assorted camping gear, 2 kids and 2 adults in there in the past.

Hello, Looking at replacing our current Bongo with another different spec' one. Currently we're forever taking our rear bench seat out and putting it back in again. Can anyone tell me if it is relatively easy and quick to remove the split rear seats - as in the ones that fold up to the side of the B...
