Re: Fridge issues.

I have the same fridge with the same symptoms. I have just replaced my leisure battery and everything is now fine. I suspect that my old leisure battery, although within the acceptable voltage range, couldn't release the high surge needed when the compressor fridge starts :( Which is kind of what I...

Re: Bongo Roof Cover

Having not seen the club shop one I cant comment other than to say that it is similar to the ones the VW folks use.... I have helped to put on a Comfortz leisure one and as I have a Mazda Factory one myself with the zip open front "window" flap I can obviously comment on both of those.... ...

I think you've outdone yourself this time, stunning photos =D> if ever that was published as a tourist guide it would be a best seller. =D> =D> =D> I have always been very jealous of all your tours, but this is the best ever and makes me want to follow in your footsteps. :D Maybe you should get one...

Re: Fridge issues.

I'd also check the cable terminals at the battery and also the size of cable...and length of the the "run" from the LB to the Fridge.... Waeco's tend to have a start up "kick" of around 7 amps so if your cable is borderline and or terminals not 100%.... then that can contribute t...

Re: Solar again - Fixed vs Portable

Having just returned from three weeks in Europe, wild-camping, Dodgey's fixed kit worked a treat, pics HERE [/color] Always chilled beer & fizz, and the cheese made it home in an edible form, I just wish I'd done it years ago  Ditto with me and my EU jaunts..... as well as my Cycling trip...

Re: Solar again - Fixed vs Portable

Plus...... an equivalent decent 100w portable unit is around £260..... yer pays yer money.... but for me and with the solar split to allow starter battery charging.... when the leisure is full, so no wasted free energy ....... it's a no brainer and the fuel consumption with the roof mount is no diff...

Re: Solar again - Fixed vs Portable

Cant speak for a folding portable.....but my framed roof mounted 100w solar kit from Dodgey has done the business for me since last October.... I have mine set up to charge the starter battery when the leisure battery is full so making use of all the what would be wasted energy from the panel. My fri...
