Re: failed MOT emissions test
Do you use your Bongo often? Short Journeys?..... sometimes if you use a petrol vehicle for short journeys or it is standing for periods of time...the Lambda get "lazy" as if they are asleep..... my MOT shop see that all the time...I took the Mrs car up for test last year and we had to run...

Re: Overnight parking within 20 miles of Calais
Depends where you are heading for..... think you will have an issue with the Trailer tent...if you can sleep/nap in the Bongo then you could get away with it, However...I echo other sentiments about staying overnight near the ports. I was over in February to Dunkirk to head into Belgium and there wa...

Re: Rust proofing the rear arches from inside.
Hi It's not a fit and forget treatment...repeat at least every 2 years...I usually repeat it annually...sills, cavities and doors box sections, etc. Cheers Helen agree...... good practice to recover the rear arches and the box section behind the front wheels annually.... it's a road water "was...

Re: Power steering Top pinion oil seal... at last
Sorry been away for a few days..... the seals ...they have to come from Slovakia... work out at £9 each to me... happy to sell on for that cost plus postage... which is of course less than a full rack kit... The seals are listed for the Bongo/Vito/Ducato and the correct size too... a big thanks to I...

Power steering Top pinion oil seal... at last
I have now found a supplier of the Top Pinion Oil Seal..... it seems Corteco and Nok are very difficult to source these days, so I have found a supplier for the usual power steering seal failure............ in Slovakia. These people are Power Steering specialists and will sell seals for many cars an...

Re: Restoring wheel arches with fibreglass
Nice alternative Mike...... you also say that replacement arches can also corrode in time.... I think it depends on how good the job is on those.... mine have been on almost 3 years and as good as the day they were replaced, it wasn't at the cheaper end of the scale but I can add that a Bongo that v...
