Pooly Bridge is at the bottom end of Ulleswater cos thats where the river flows out of it. Its also the nearest place of Lake District tourist intrest to Dent. So there! If I were going on the Settle/Carlisle from Dent I'd head south rather than north. Better scenery and lots of great towns/villages...

Bad news for all at the bash.. ...I've got the weekend off so will be driving down to the bash tomorrow complete with tiny small tent. Hope there is room for me? Looking forward to sampling everyones hospitality and catering.
