Re: Swivel Seat Fitting

Hi Ian :)

Is it possible for us to book a slot as a day visitor please?

We cannot get there until the Sunday morning so, if it is, can we have the 11.30 until 1300 slot please? :D

Hi Wayne :D

I also have a set of four Mazda wheel trims here, if Simon can't help you out... They are for 15 inch wheels. Let me know...

Re: TowBars

Some time ago I bought the 'wrong' towbar from Towtrust.... I've had it in the mancave whilst I mulled over what to do. Thanks to the new information supplied by Simon and Geoff, I emailed Towtrust on Saturday eve asking if the new part on the new design was compatible with the old one.... I had a r...

Another vote for the Vango =D>

Dead easy to put up, a little more fiddly to pack but a couple of practice runs and it's simple... :D

Re: Drive Away Awning

Hi Anthony :D That's exactly what we do and we find it works well for us. We have three pieces of figure 8 permantly on the gutter. We run the Kador through those then put the awning with the single piece of figure 8 onto that. Driving away is simple - just pull out the Kador then close up the awnin...

Re: Caravan Towing Questions

The question has to be 'Have you towed before?' Aside from the monetary value of your outfit and possessions, you obviously have to consider the 'value' of your passengers... For a small outlay, the cost of proper training by experienced and professional instructors is a tiny price to pay! I've been...

Re: Urgent help please - benji only starting with easy start

Sounds a little like air getting into the system somewhere, to me. I would try bleeding it right up to the injectors - take an injector pipe off after you've bled up to the pump - and then try and start him, obviously without easistart though. If you have air in the system a few hours after a drive,...

Re: Accelerator pedal

Hmmm....interesting! I think the OP means that the pedal actually sticks in the idle position - when you try to gently press it for a smooth getaway, the pedal needs a sharp tap with your foot to 'free' it. After the initial tap its absolutely fine.... Ours does that too! I've been meaning to ...

Re: Alpro Loopo awning

Thank you both. So I have been told the awning will slide into the Figure of 8 and as you both mention the Figure of 8 clips to the van. Nogob mentions having another Figure of 8 and the strip between the one on the Bongo and the one attached to the awning. If I don't do this is driving away a prob...

Re: Rear anti-roll arm bush bracket bolt size!

Do you have any sort of engineering/fabrication companies or garages close to you? You could always go and ask once you've got the old one off - they are literally a couple of pennies to buy (wholesale), not diy store mega prices....
Just a thought :D
