Re: Under seat sliding drawer
No not at all, it's a snug fit, plus I fitted the wheels so they had a very slight drag on them to prevent them moving in transit.. You could just fit two at the back as in practice you lift the front part to drag it out.

Re: Under seat sliding drawer
Hi
I fitted utility wheels via 10mm bolts to my draw rather than have it on a rail. Works perfectly.

Re: Advice on buying Bongo with cracked windscreen
Hi
If you purchase and insure the van, most likely your insurance will cover a screen replacement. I had mine replaced a year or so ago via my insurance at a cost of £75 to me.

Re: Storage cupboard
Sorry no, I used cardboard to map out the contours for the end pieces. As for the size of the openings, that was determined on what was the largest items I wanted to fit in them. I bought the latches off ebay, cheap but are performing well, although I had to make up some 3mm packing plate to get the...

Re: Storage cupboard
Hello I built my over over head cupboards using 12mm ply. I am not sure the measurements need to be exact as I made mine to fit my requirements. One thing I did notice is some owners fixed them by screwing through the floor of the aft in order to fix it to the cabin roof. I opted for some 90 degree ...

Re: Bongo won’t start after service? Help!
Hi. Geoff and I deducted my problem was the headlight relay, which upon removal was corroded. My headlights were turning on unexpectedly whilst parked up, which as the van is parked down the side of my house, went un noticed until I attempted to start the van. My battery is only 9 months old, so it ...

Re: bongo electrics question
Hello You might want to remove the relays and visually check if their is any corrosion around the pins. I have just posted an update to my headlight issue which was caused by my headlight relay. Definitely worth a check as my van is in great condition and kept under a carport during the winter but s...

Re: Clicking from solenoid
So a quick update. Having fitted two used headlights and taillights relays my problem appears to have been resolved. Although it was the headlight relay that showed most corrosion I opted to replace them both. It has been a week now and I have checked the volts in the battery which has remained cons...

Re: Clicking from solenoid
Hi. G8dhe
Will do, have just ordered both relays from bongo spares, I have some needle files which I can clean the loom connectors with, followed by contact cleaner.
Hopefully this was the cause of my problem

Re: Clicking from solenoid
Update..
Well having removed the relay I think my problem is evident, corrosion I believe.
I think my best option is to replace this unit?

Re: Clicking from solenoid
I guess my next best step is to order a new relay, would I be able to get a part number off the existing one? I will need to remove the leisure battery in order to remove the relay.
