Hello telsown
I would be interested in your awning if still available. Please PM with with your address and I can arrange collection.
Many thanks
Hello Ian, should Telsown allow me to have the awning I would be interested in the inner.

Re: Turbo Play

Prices do vary, best to shop around, and where possible buy locally, so if a problem should occur you have a better chance of remedy.

Re: Turbo Play

Sadly a worn bearing will only get worse, changing oil regularly will help a little but it's not worth risking the fans being damaged, as once they go, other than potential damage to other components, it's a long process of flushing out the engine with multiple litres of oil to clean any metal fragm...

Re: New member, New Bongo - Advice on rust

Hi and welcome
As a quick fix for appearance, I would buy some T-cut and clean away the rust stain, rubbing in a circular motion over the rust patch should clean away a lot of the mark. You could then touch the actual rust spot with hammerite curarust followed by an appropriate colour touch up pen.

Re: "Pinking" on my 2.0lt petrol bongo

Hello.
Plugs I believe are ok as runs very smooth with a good tick over. I believe it's most prevalent after using supermarket fuel, and having read a few threads on here it would seem it's a common problem.

"Pinking" on my 2.0lt petrol bongo

Hi all Just wondering if any other owners are experiencing the same engine pinking sound at 1500 rpm. I think it's called pinking, it only happens at low revs and when under load, or mainly when the engine is cold. I have tried filling at different fuel stations and some seem to help. Any ideas as t...

Re: Rear kitchen mounted on seat runners?

Hello. Welcome aboard. I am not sure if my set up is what you require but mine does sit ontop of the rear bench seats, thus giving me maximum room in the back when camping but also offering the full use of the van by it's simple removal. Cannot upload photos but this is a link to my photos. http://i...

Re: Newbie advice for a well loved Bongo called 'Um'

Hi and welcome. I too am based in the southeast and use a local garage in Ashford Kent called TCT, mace lane Ashford. Nice guys who deal with all types of vehicles, they are booked to do my rocker box cover oil leak on my 2.0ltr petrol bongo. They are aware that diesel bongos need a lengthy coolant ...

Re: Camping clubs?

We are members of the camping and caravan club for the past year and as it's up for renewal we are contemplating whether to renew or not. We found many of the campsites were not as good as some independent ones we visited. And talking to the owners as to why they were not in the club, they informed ...

Re: 12v and 240v switch over

Hello. Thanks for your time and information. I think from what you say the best way to give him power off grid would be to wire in an inverter which offers 2. 240v 3 pin sockets incorporated. I think most of his items are 12v, only he hoped to have switch that he could flick to power the 3 pin socke...

12v and 240v switch over

Hi all. I am seeking some advice on behalf of my nephew. He has recently bought a bongo with a conversion which also came with a 100w solar panel fitted on the roof. The conversion has two twin power sockets for electric appliances but these only work when on electric hook up. He would like to have ...
