Re: Cubby hole switch mod
Another idea for material to use to make the panel is a spare table back from a middle bench seat. That way you can use matching plastic. Not my idea but one I remember seeing somewhere, probably on here somewhere. You mean like this one..? http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/viewtopic.php?f=44&...

Re: 02 tintop headlight conundrum.
Been doing a bit of reading regarding how these HID Xenons work..
When/if the time comes.. I'm positive there are other Mazda models from that era of manufacturing that will cross reference bits.
I've done similar component matches on my old 95 plate..

Re: V6 Petrol Overheated
Thanks. The crankshaft pulley has been suggested elsewhere as well and seems to be a very good place to start based on the symptoms. It may explain the hot running if its not turning the water pump over properly. I have a busy day tomorrow!! But hopefully if I can identify whats caused the overheat...

Re: V6 Petrol Overheated
from the clues i would hazard a guess at the crankshaft pulley torn apart as in the above comment. not sure if its the same construction as the diesel but its worth seeing if you can spin the belt/s with the crank staying put. elevated temps, no sign of a leak, tapping sound on tickover, fans on mor...

Re: V6 Petrol Overheated
Thank you all for responding. I have added checking the radiator flow and function to my check list. Regarding the scavenger fan am I right in saying this is the one that faces back toward the engine and looks a bit like a desk fan? If so I think you may be right about this being the whirring noise...

Re: 02 tintop headlight conundrum.
Xenons? Our van has them, bloody great they are. I thought that's what they were...! Never had a vehicle with them fitted before. They are ruddy great. Don't really need a main beam? Though I was going to LED the "sidelight" bulbs. & use a whiter main & fogs.. Just to match the co...

02 tintop headlight conundrum.
So, I aquired this new shape Tintop a couple of days ago. & I' poking around it like you do.... It has these double headlights behind one lens? The outer side (dipped beam.) is brilliant white to which I see no way to access should a bulb blow..? Unusually it has a level adjuster too on the dash...

Re: Door card woes
Hi, Ironically, it's easier to get back on at the top edge first over the internal door lock button with the window down... #-o It works better clipping it over internal door skin/panel.. Sorry if I apear a bit "sardonic"? That's not my intention. If I was closer to you I'd sort you window...

Cool,
Glad you got it sorted.
It's a bit of an adventure rumaging around behind all that trim isn't it? Lol

Re: Fog lights
Yes they are the exact ones however I'm fitting them to a new 2000 van. They look like should fit as is held by 3 screws instead of 4, unless I make a bracket. Mine is a 95 tintop with these fitted.. But funny enough I've a deposit down on a 2002 aero tintop with the round lense fitted.. If the bum...

Re: Cable routing for solar setup
Hi all I've scoured these and other forums for some time to try to get this clear in my head, but have failed - apologies if this is routine stuff that I should know already, but here goes... Have solar panel rigged to rear end of AFT. Will be drilling holes to pass the 2 cables through. Have found...

Re: Fog lights
They are originals (used of e-bay £60). Will any old screws / bolts do or do they need to be a certain thread? Hi, Did you mean these? From an early shape model.. (See the lower box in the link.) http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/code=5105A&cat=a2ajra05&vin=&imgno=.html#16 If so? I ...
