Re: No. 1 manifold stud

Still had great...

Re: stewby's snapshot of scotland...

Apart from the ferry ports there was a great wee spot at Vatersay community hall. Just Beware the Vatersay Boys http://...

Re: awnings

Need to give a thumbs up for the base seconds 2013 model. With a strategically placed coolbox and crate of beer ours didn't try to join Dorothy or Toto in the breeze we had at Gairloch. The older version we used to have did stand up to a reversing Bongo  although it did fold in the wind somew...

Re: Scottish Bongo Bash At Gairloch

Some good photos indeed, our avatar picture was taken down Glen Etive, first day of ownership and first trip in our Freda :D Thought I'd add our trip report Thursday afternoon after a long shift at work and a ridiculously short sleep we headed off up north. Didn't think we'd make it as far as Gairloch...

Re: Scottish Bongo Bash 16 to 21 May 2013 (Club Meet)

Thinking of driving along the tops of the Cairngorm mountains No need to go that far, there's snow cover over Ben Lomond and there's a motorway up the side of that one  They say it is bitterly cold, horizontal rain, with very strong winds, but they are loving every moment. Brilliant, don't let ...

Sorry to be an ignorant English person but what is an Aberdeen buttery? We'd never heard of them either  Down in Glasgow we have our own type of Morning Roll http://www.mortonsrolls.com/traditional-crispy-rolls/ Best filled with a square slice sausage and some fried onions with a generous squ...

Re: Overnight parking/camping

Just back from up Lochinver way,you should go to the pie shop there,a bit pricey but the venison and cranberry pies are to die for =P~ Not too far north or south of Inverness would be ideal. There is a few Forestry Commission car parks which should be okay for an overnight stop north of Inverness on...
