Re: Bongo Maschine v1.0

Thanks Joe that would be great to see how the code works. All my stuff arrived this morning so hopefully I will start tinkering tomorrow. I went with an i2c controlled display so not to have too many pins to wire up but I`m now not sure if this was a good idea to start with. As I say i1m going to st...

Re: Bongo Maschine v1.0

Hi guys didn't understand most of it. But I went ahead and bought an arduino uno and a 20x 4 display and some stuff. I'm going to have a go building one similar to joes but to read things like boost pressure, as well as battery volts, any help with code would be great joe as I don't even speak Engli...

Re: Oil light on at tick over

5-30 synth is what I have so correct grade of oil. You could try a10-40 see if that increases the pressure a little. Do you know what you had in to start with? You could also try removing the sump to see if the strainer is partially clogged, I will be doing this when I overhaul the engine this summer.

Re: Sump

Hi Dan, Frank and I are talking about diesels, I'm not sure about a 2 litre petrol. Usually if you have had a leak it will take a while for All the old oil to finally get to the sump. You could try a de greaser such as gunk and then see if you still have a leak.

Re: Sump

Hi, my bongo leaks from a few places but most, even the best diesels seem to leak around the egr pipe. This is drivers side front of engine. Even with all my leaks it's never dripped on the drive as the engine guard catches it. Only time she messed the drive it was diesel from the pump

Re: Starter motors

Hi Rita, the new one starts the car fine but when the engine starts the starter motor gives a sort of slow down whine. Teeth were band new and there's no sound when starting just as I said above, should I have oiled or greased the teeth?

Re: Leisure battery ammeter question

Hi guys your starting to loose me again, I have the willington split charge kit. The voltage on the starter battery terminals is 12.45 and 12.3 on the lb. this is without ignition. After starting engine at idle, I have 14.2 at starter and 14.2 at leisure. If I fitted the gauges as described, I'd be ...
