Re: Coolant pipes to rear heater matrix

No reason whatsoever , you could also consider lagging them.
You could also make them from rubber/plastic as long as the materials used are suitably rated.

Re: Feasibility of retrofitting passenger airbag in 95-97

Hi Pete, there is still a chance that you could pick up an early vehicle with twin air bags as these were fitted as an optional extra. Your agent should be able to help you. Oh really? I've yet to spot a pre-98 with pictures of a passenger airbag but I'll keep looking at those early ones. They actu...

Re: Rear Diff sourcing

You could buy the complete axle and just swap over the differential, then you will have a load of valuable spares. If you buy from a breaker they will normally remove and send you the bare differential as long as you meet the whole unit price the P&P will be cheaper.

Re: No diesel from injector pump

Hi, Many thanks for your reply. The tank is a third full. If I understand you correctly, I've removed the banjo bolt into the fuel pump and put my thumb over the hole whilst cranking the engine. I know my thumb isn't a vacuum meter but I couldn't feel.or hear any sense of vacuum at the aperture You...

g8dhe wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 2:32 pm OK last comment, it doesn't appear to be able to bleed the air out of the engine itself, it only acts as a bypass for the pipe that dives under the firewall.
Could you elaborate on this pipe that takes a dive, do you know its purpose and what it connect too , if anything.

Regards.
