Welcome aboard, Judaz.
Worth trying a search, I'm sure someone recommended a garage your way a while back.

Re: fuel light
Personaly I don't let the gauge go under 1/4. Twice in the last month we've been scrambled to family members in, or needing to get to hospital. Not the time to be thinking which garage is open.
Also gives you some slack if the queues are bad, no power, banking system down...

Re: Coolant hose failure - how to get to the garage
Mulling this over I've an idea that the myth that you can't tow a 4wd has grown from the fact that you can't use a spec lift or suspended tow without disconecting the prop shaft(s).
The wheels on the ground would turn the suspended pair.

Re: Tank range? Diesel.
I always zero the trip counter when I fill up as a back up to the gauge. As said, 500kms/300 miles gives a good reserve. I've never been one for chancing it with fuel. I write this waiting at the hospital having had to deliver a family member, not the time to work out where the nearest (open) garage...

Re: Coolant hose failure - how to get to the garage
My understanding is as above, no more than 18mph, 4wd shouldn't be a problem as the transmission is ok.
I'd tow it with a rigid bar to overcome the brake servo issue - these can be had for 20 quid upwards, just remember Bongy will run about 2 tons.

Re: Overheating problem
Bloomin' bad luck, Mate.
Hopefuly warranty will cover further repairs if you've just paid the garage to fix it, but are you using a 'Bongo Savvy' garage?
Unfortunately not all garages know as much as they think they do, and some won't be told about bleeding the system.
