Wel...

Re: Sidelight, Dashlights and Foglight = MOT fail - help!

Its quite easy to test if its the relay, as there are 2 the same. 1 does the side lights/ dash / tail, the other does the headlights. Swap them over and see if it makes a difference. If you need an indicator stalk, I may have one in my spares that I am slowly ebaying. But probably a fuse or relay b...

Re: Sidelight, Dashlights and Foglight = MOT fail - help!

Thanks Dave, will check the fuses when daylight and positive temperature return! I am leaning more towards the indicator stalk connectors though given dash and sidelights dont work and everything else if fine - seems a bit too much of a coincidence to me. Also if the fog light bulb goes - would that...

On a kind of similar topic - any advice when tackling a steep hill? Leaving it in D causes it to keep changing down and i've seen my temp needle head to the right quite worryingly!

Re: Windscreen washers not working

Something I need to investigate when i've time. My rear washer isnt working, and from previous posts it would appear to be a duff pump. Need to swap front and rear pumps over to prove it (and that it's not just a blockage). I think the pump from a more modern mazda will work.. i'll have a look to se...

Cigar lighter splitter - fuse size?

Hi there, I've been using a basic splitter I picked up to allow me to plug two 12v sockets into the cigar lighter. Been working fine until today when i had a satnav and a PSP charger pluged in and the fuse in it blew. Checked the fuse and saw it was a 6A glass one. Is that right or has it been fused...

Re: Leisure battery charging from hookup question

Don't want to hijack the thread but i guess its along the same lines... I've got a leisure battery/split replay set up powering the coolbox and water pump in the back of the van. Have thought about getting an intelligent charger (something like a CTEK) which has a "supply" capability so th...
