mazda 626 temp sender switch looks the same as bongo to,fast idle pickup solenoid.and aircon throttle pickup solenoid appear swappable.

sounds like either the air intake is low/blocked,fuel mix wrong,or fuel just pouring in,to much fuel, mix again wrong.
could this be timing.

the vapour is pulled through the system and burnt by vacuum,if this vacuum fails, ie a leak,the oil/ air flow will stall and condense and gather, imo.

to be fair kirsty i think the tow bar may have been abused to it is tight in the mounts so as you suggest i will put it on the list. :roll: =D>

ive been trying to source the seal myself,my local top man says they are not available,
hes been in the seals/bearing industry all his working life,if he says no chance,im stumped [-X :cry:

the two wires maybe add on side light wires that have been removed,took the pos and neg from the sidelight! i did an autopsy on my parking pole as like yours my one made all the noises but no light etc. the motor you can hear rotates a drum containing the wire for the bulb,that is threaded up a plas...

short answer is probably yes.when the fans come on it should really bang the temp down quickly!! seconds. have you changed/cleaned the fan switch and temp sender? i replaced mine with non gen items and found the new readings from them were poor,they were not as accurate,replaced them with gen mazda,...

I'm still not happy with the temperature rising towards the H mark in heavy traffic and steep hills as it makes me very nervous. hi have you checked the head flow port is clean,really clean.this is the opening in the top of the stat housing,the stat top disc shuts it when top end temps are approach...
