Oil gets behind the crankshaft sensor and messes up the reading.. remove it, clean the oil out of the sensor hole and wipe the sensor face .watch out for the O ring. Worth a cheap fix try.

Over the starter motor pipe. Check the other end where it clips to the heater system it rots away

Sounds like it wasn't bled completely when the pipe was swapped. Top it to the correct level when cold and see if it holds its own over a few local journeys.

The short rear one is for the sliding door side, so it doesn't rip it off when you open the door.

Watch your fingers, when/if it actuates and the internal panel is off it will grind your digits in the gearing.

Yes the position ringed in your pic is where I've put the T piece. Be mindful of the heat in this area, metal T piece and good clips are advised.

You are correct you haven't got a bleed pipe, it should have one really, the fitting in the head should have a little T off to fit a pipe, plenty like this are around, usually having a new head but it may just have been replaced after corrosion, I get round this by fitting an extra T fitting in the ...

From memory the wiring loom for the back end goes along the driver's side panel where the grab handles are then into the rear door, is it possible you may have drilled the wires while fitting your curtains.

Try a squirt of wd wotsit into the anti roll bar bushes to chassis they can creak as the load alters during braking, also the strut top had a rubber doughnut in-between the strut top and the body I've replaced these in the past
