Very interesting,never seen framing right up the sides like that.Looking forward to further reports. Some say that they never really use the washing up bowl in their bongo conversions. If you're generally camping in warmer dryer weather then you might prefer washing up outdoors and using the space for something else. Something full width underneath the bed and that pulls out underneath the tailgat...

Looks good. Might pay you to cut an access trap above the fuel gauge sender just in case you need to access it. Is it a common problem having to access the fuel gauge sender? Hey thanks for that Mike... very thorough instructions and I like the 'keep it simple' ethos and I'm definitely into the patching up jeans thing. Paint is pretty expensive over here (NZ). My panel shop quoted $40 (20quid) for a small vial of colour matched paint for touch-ups and small cans of 'off ...

Thanks Jim but I'm in New Zealand so I was hoping that I might be able to get a off the shelf green from one of the big paint manufacturers who also sell over here.... sorry probably should have mentioned that
