I have not changed the glass myself but i understand you need to warm the plastic case up to expand it and then the glass just slips in.

you can always do the same as some of us and buy a remote locking kit from ebay and fit it in the drivers door. There is a fact sheet in the members area. I fitted one of these kits inside the drivers door only used 1 actuator conected to the drivers door lock and that then works the locks on all the doors
