Have you caught the hold button on the gear lever ??????????

there is the button you hold in to select the gear then under that there is another button for the hold

I think most of the temp gauges on the bongo's are dampened down.

on mine the temp gauge is modified with a mason alarm

Yes i have done this with mine but dont make a habbit of it you may need to conect the jump leads and leave it 10 mins before you try and start the van.

If it does drain your battery then there is somthing wrong with your charging system.

The short answer is no your battery will be fine as the altenator will keep it charged while driving

You can use a big tub to collect the old oil or use a pela pump to suck most of the fluid out first before you drop the sump

Just to double check i have just been out reconected the plug and my beeps are back for ignition and reverse. Disconected again and both sets of beeps have stopped. Could there be a differance in the wireing as mine is a tin top with others being freetops i wonder if the wireing is differant due to ...

Yep under the cowel on the steering colum there is a plug you just disconect this stops reversing and door open key in ignition beeps.
