I had the same problem a week ago the ac would not turn on but soon as the temp rose a bit it came back to life.

If you go down near the bottem of the forum page and look under eastern you will find some garages listed closer to cambridge there is one in fenstanton and one in pidley. In a way i hope i am wrong but i had this problem on an old bedford cf van and it turned out to be the big end bearings on the way out. I was told because of the wear on them oil forces its way through which drops the oil presure slightly and results in the oil light filckering on.

I picked up a hydrometer last week for checking your coolent tells you what temp you are protected down too £3 from wilco.

Nope don't mind you asking at all. yes i did clean there stripped out the switch light wet ant dry to all contact points and a quick spray with switch cleaner for good measure.
still nothing but i have one live fit to the plug that the switch fits in to.

Hi i check the fuse first and this is fine even though for some reason mine has a 20 amp and not a 10 as in the picture but that should make no differance. So then on to removing the switch and cleaning it done that but still nothing no noise at all from the motor. check there is a live feed to the ...
