hi have posted this before but this is what I done in my first bongo £25 off ebay a two bum fold up seat with lap belts (allthough not nessesary in rear facing seats) taken from a VW, I did put a proper lever on for the release after I had finished it , needed to be fold up to gain access to the fri...

forgive me if this is stupid but surely the roof tent limits how far your roof will raise or are we saying its not lifting as far as it ought ?

it gives you the mains voltage of 230 volts so you can run the same things as you do in your house

but most laptops are around 20volts the box between your 13 amp plug and the end that plugs into your lappy reduses the 13 amp 230v down to the voltage needed by your lappy, so if your on a site with 230v just charge your battery on lappy up so you can use it when your not on site

more info needed as per what is at the bongo end? is it a power managment system with the mains fed from a rcd? is it switched on , have you checked your cables , was the site socket "live "

sorry to hear of your problems hope you get everthing sorted with not too much expense, but I was surprised to see that it had only done 60,000 miles and its a 96 model, that seems very low milage to me, that averages out around 3,300 miles per year
