Well done to "Dunslair","the laird", and anyone else who helped in organising the day. =D>

Bongoless

Gutted, My poor old Bongo hasn't a chance of passing an MOT, too rotten underneath. So for now I'm Bongoless after six years. I would break her for spares but do not have the space, might need to sell whole Bongo for spares or repair. As for replacing her, there is one on Gumtree, in Aviemore....

Re: Poor starting when warm.

Thanks for the replies. She is a "96" model, with about 230,000Km on her and I'm afraid not worth spending £400 on a pump refurb. I've had her since Feb 2007, and have been told it will be touch and go if she will make it through the MOT in Feb without spending a small fortune on her, as s...

Poor starting when warm.

Perfect starting from cold, but when warm it turns over for much longer before firing. I did find a loose vaccum pipe from the bottom of the valve/actuator/autochoke? connected to throttle housing, and the long metal tube that goes up to the solinoid valves. Once replaced all seemed okay.......but n...

Re: EDIT: October 6th meet

Is it worth me taking my fire pit? I've not christened it yet. Plus it could double-up as a BBQ. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/donaldmaclennan/P1010982_zps3d481149.jpg http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u78/donaldmaclennan/P1010981_zpsce1e9f4a.jpg Thanks to Kirsty (missfixit70) for the idea...
