Jack it up, wheels off, axle stands in place.
Undo the drop link from the suspension strut on both sides. Some drop links have flats on to get a spanner on the back but I found it easier to just grab it with the moles.

Tyre calculator
Found this on the web, very handy for comparing rolling radius etc.
http://www.club80-90syncro.co.uk/Syncro_website/TechnicalPages/TRC%20calculator.htm
Went looking because we've just got another Bongo fitted with 17" wheels and I wanted to know what the rolling radius of the 227x 50 17 tyres is ...

Our old Freda's speedo (so presumably the odometer) was about 5/6% fast according to the GPS.
Remember too that the GPS reading is a flat linear reading, ie it does not take into account the extra mileage up and down hills, could account for quite a bit if ...

Broken radio aerial fix
Badly bent my radio aerial a couple of days ago and was aghast at the the cost £30) for a new one.
So, for anyone who has the same problem this may help.
Saw the old aerial off just where there is a dimpled bit on the aerial stem.
The aerial stem below this dimple is filled with brass.
