Re: Glencoe mountain resort

Stayed up at Glenshee a couple of years ago for skiing and it was £5 a night for a hookup, free to park. Only about six HUs though when we went so it's pot luck.

Re: ADVICE SOUGHT: Which SIM free smartphone to buy

Have a look at GiffGaff for your SIM Mike. No contract and you can buy various priced Goodybags starting at a fiver. You can start at a low price and work up if it doesn't suit your requirements. It can be set to automatically renew each month if you want to so a bit like having a contract without a...

Re: just thought i would read up on this newish technology.

No point whingeing, it's here to stay like it or not. :(
Just get a 40 year old MG, no tax, £60 a year insurance, easily available bits are cheap as chips, everything can be fixed with a hammer and screwdriver (nearly), whats not to like. :D

Re: Trip to europe

Remember speed camera warnings systems are illegal in France. They will confiscate your equipment and fine you. Re: Sky lift roof colour options

One thing to think about is how well you sleep. We had white (which makes it nice and bright in the day) on our Mushroom roof but as I find it almost impossible to sleep unless it's dark we never actually slept upstairs.

Re: Solar panel

I used 10amp fuses baz. Not sure what the wire is, got loads of it hanging around so just used the same size as the leads that came from the panel. Not sure what it is actually. Cable sizing table here which could be useful. http://www.solar-wind.co.uk/cable-sizing-DC-cables.html Another useful bit ...
