Yes the position ringed in your pic is where I've put the T piece. Be mindful of the heat in this area, metal T piece and good clips are advised.

Re: Name That Pipe
You are correct you haven't got a bleed pipe, it should have one really, the fitting in the head should have a little T off to fit a pipe, plenty like this are around, usually having a new head but it may just have been replaced after corrosion, I get round this by fitting an extra T fitting in the ...

Does this just happen every time the Mrs drives the bongo.
My Mrs groans and moans when I'm in the passenger seat maybe it's just that she doesn't like critism

From memory the wiring loom for the back end goes along the driver's side panel where the grab handles are then into the rear door, is it possible you may have drilled the wires while fitting your curtains.

Re: Slight groaning sound driver side front, last 3m under braking ?
My first check would be the brake pads and discs are not contaminated and packing shims behind the pads, have the pads got a leading edge on the rotation facing edge?. Have the shims got lubricant between them and the brake pad?. Are the pad retaining springs/clips present. Has the wheel been put on ...

Looking at the pipe that goes from just under the bleed pipe, ( top left in pic 1) to the turbo, that looks a bit suspect as it's discoloured .
