iirc are the bulbs 501 type and are accesible from inside, if you remove the tailgate inner panel. they're tuck away right in the corners in push n twist fittings and are a pain to get in and out

speedo pick up is middle clock plug, blue with white trace. As simon said, depending on where you pick up from (if you have a chip), if not then cut the loop, but if you do and your picking up after the chip, (mph signal) then leave the loop intact. Personally i always pick up an original kmh signal...

What year is your vehicle? could be the fuel pump seal failing and allowinf the fuel to run back? What brand of glow plugs were fitted? slacken off an injector pipe before trying to start and see i...

If you remove the vacuum pipe at the cc unit is there is a strong vacuum there with the engine running? Youve said that it passed electrical check so brake pedal and power are all ok? can you confirm wire colours? wondering if brake pedal connection is correct, think it was green with a trace iirc (...

Might be a broken tooth on the retracting cog? seen that before and leaves a little wobble on the whole unit? as Geoff says, unit comes off quite easily worst case scenario

Re: Belt Tensioner Bolt
its an odd bolt to shear as its not exactly a load bearing bolt, it locks the tensioner into its pre-set tensioned position

Problem with cheap vsr's is the spike current from a flat lb. A flat 75AH lb, draws a big spike on initial contact closure, (abt 75%) for a few seconds, so a chaep vsr rated at 30A, gets overloaded, everyone has seen fuses that have melted instead of blown, this is why, in sensitive electronics you ...

Re: Quick towbar question
there are few types of towbar and some are stronger than others. 1 type just bolts through the bumper mount, which on the nearside is exactly where the rear crossmember rots! so make sure your crossmember is in good health before you attach anything to it

rev counter sensors fail once they warm up, so if yours is working for first 10 mins or so then dropping off the sensor usually needs to be replaced. There are 2 types of knock from a bongo, a metal knock is the drop links, a thud is the anti roll bar bushes, swap the lot out and be done with it and...

You have to hold the set button down for a few seconds cos the initial movement is minimal, i got ...
