Re: not happy starting after a long run.

I have the same scenario. Had my Bongo parked in the open, unused for THREE months. Over Easter, I wiped the snow off, climbed aboard, turned the key and Bongo jumped into life. However, hit the motorway in the summer and pull into a service area for a break and I get oh so nervous as to whether I a...

Thanks Andy, you are a star.

I know so little about the nuts and bolts of the vehicle I drive, I really should not be allowed out on the road!

Similar thing happened to me. Make sure the rain draiage pipe under the windscreen is not blocked. It is easily clogged with debris and the water plays havoc with the electricals under the bonnet.

Good luck.

Touch up paint is available from the Bongo Fury shop. take a look at the appropriate factseheet for detailed advice on all aspects of paint touch-up. Frankly, I have NEVER been able to touch up stone chips with a brush. I grab a toothpick, blunt the end slightly and use that to apply. You will get v...

I am not being a smart a*se but there have been other threads concerning problems on releasing spare wheel including one owner who could not find the tools to lower it. How have these Bongos passed their MOT? Does not the MOT include inspection of spare wheel?

I am lucky enough not to have made too many driving mistakes but I made one this Sunday. Travelling down a narrow country kland with cars parked on the left. Stoped before the line of parked cars to allow oncoming vehicles to pass me. Actually, it was one of those borderline scenarios I hate. It was...

This subject has been covered before annsvan. Please do not sit at lights with your foot on the brake. At best your brake lights will blind the motorist behind. At worst, your foot could slip off the brake. As you now know, an automatic will creep forward (or backwards if in reverse) of its own acco...
