When searching, it's best to use the more obscure of the terms you are looking for.

"the archive also mentioned a broken or missing fin on the jack"

So I just put "fin" in the search engine, selected the Techie section only, and there it was.

You can also use Balco BCV809 or Bailcast CV514. If you have difficulty tracking them down, we stock the CBK25s here at the club.

I've not used Protex, but I do usesed Ultraseal, which is a different brand. A guy called Richard Moorhouse (West Yorks based!) came to our house and did it in an hour for a total cost of ?75.

Having suffered a blow out on my last Bongo (at low speed) it certainly gives you peace of mind.

My oil light stays on for about 1 second longer than the others. It's always done this, and I haven't had any problems in 16 months.

If it's a dealer who advertises on this website, they will sort it for you. And if you have bought off a less reputable dealer, then they should still sort it. You have your rights under consumer legislation.

I agree that this is an important post. But I tend to steer clear of making topics "sticky" as there are too many topics to do this. Instead I will summarise the info on this thread and put it on the "Bongo Clinic" page on main website.

I am an old man and my memory is failing, but I'm sure somebody at one of the very first Bongo bashes (in the 1930s) told me that towing wasn't a problem with an automatic Bongo because there was an oil cooled radiator. Now, if this is true, then it stands to reason that if the radiator was no longe...
