Re: OIL COOLER AUTOBOX
Thanks again Bob good information as usual :) I will shop around but as for self fitting that is out of the question, far too old and rickety to be rolling around on the driveway it will cost me a fortune on arthritic pills. There must be someone local who could do this, I may ask Stuc when I catch ...

Re: OIL COOLER AUTOBOX
Rita is correct, it is likely worth while fitting an additional oil cooler to the auto transmission if you tow a good size trailer. A sort of mini radiator just for the auto box fluid. Kenlow and others do them, took me a Sunday morning to fit. Cheers Bob your a star. do you have any info where you...

Re: OIL COOLER AUTOBOX
They don't have a cooler on the box as std but yes they have an oil cooler fitted (incorporated ) in the bottom of the cooling system radiator. It would be worthwhile fitting an extra cooler to the vehicle for towing purposes ,hope your not too late. Good Luck. No i do not think I fried it but it w...

OIL COOLER AUTOBOX
I have been told that the V6 has an oil cooler fitted as standard to the auto box, can anyone tell me if that is correct? If it is I may need a modification as the caravan I pulled this afternoon up a few medium gradients made the box start to smell of very hot oil! smelt a bit like a burnt clutch. ...

Re: ARE INSURANCE COMPANIES TAKING THE P*** OR IS IT BREXIT ?
Just purchased a caravan to go with the Bongo then I hear they are going to hike up insurance for over 60s ffs
I am so glad the bongo is on petrol/gas as it seems they are going to hammmer diesel owners whatever their age!
Is camping and caravaning coming to an end as no longer affordable ?

Re: CARAVAN INSURANCE ANYONE
Just renewed my 2003 senator Arizona for £66 with Frank Pickles. Its my third year with no claims and the premium has dropped every year. After seeing this post I decided to go online to get a quote, although I don't need to renew until August. I have always been satisfied with the service from Car...

Re: CARAVAN INSURANCE ANYONE
Have you tried Caravanguard, if not give them a go, tel. 0800 1488400 or 01422 396769, http://www.caravanguard.co.uk. They will even tell you the market value of your caravan and insure it accordingly. I have always found them easy to talk to and reasonably priced, about £90 for a 2002 Bailey 2 ber...
