Re: Clock

I loved the look of this clock as its in keeping with the bongo dash styling and so just took delivery of one and planning to fit in the same position. Before I go at it like a bull in a china shop (as I often do) can anyone give me any tips on how to remove the interior light without damaging it or...

Re: Windscreen tint advice

That thought occurred to me too winchman - though in my case it would have happened in Japan as I am the first UK keeper of my van. I've just had another look and think its blue.

Re: Windscreen tint advice

Thanks Simon - that windscreen looks ace. I tried a yellow sweet wrapper behind the side windows and they looked a little green hence reasoning these are blue - there was no noticable change to the colour of the wrapper when held behind the windscreen hence my assumption it's plain. I quite fancy a ...

Windscreen tint advice

Hi all I've got a 6 inch crack in my windscreen right in my field of view from a middle lane Hogg on the M6 yesterday :( Autoglass are asking if it is bronze, blue tint or plain. My drivers and passenger window are blue (green ?) tint but i think the windscreen appears to be plain. Can anyone offer ...

Re: CAM BELT FAILURE! V6

To the best of my knowledge the V6 is not an interference engine. My cam belt failed around 2 years ago and after searching the net convinced myself it wasnt an interference engine. As it happened the van suffered another failure a few days after it had been repaired apparently due to a dodgy tensio...

Re: Auto Disco Top

I had the same problem with the original tape on the back of the LED strip but new double sided number plate tape seems to have done the job.

Re: Drivers door comes out very slightly at top

That's interesting - I remember shortly after we got ours 3 years back thinking it must have been in a smash because we had the same problem on the motorway. However, I cant recall it happening since ..... :-k

Figure of 8

Hi All We bought a drive-away tunnel awning at the weekend and I have just offered it up to the van to check how much figure of eight to use. Trouble is having attached the awning I am having some difficulty removing the figure of 8 from the gutter on the van. Does anyone tend to leave this on the v...

Re: dented roof

That's interesting ... mine has an indentation too. I believe it's a moulding taken from an AFT (I can see the outline of a sunroof in mine). I'd certainly be interested to learn if there is any way to rectify this (I suspect not or if so I assume it won't be a simple fix). I reverse off my drive wi...

Re: Burping a bongo... Mine behaves differently....

Is yours a V6 ?

Mine (a V6) is the same as yours in that the level in the funnel rises with revs - I read elsewhere on here that someone else with a V6 reported likewise

Cheers Jim
