update guys changed battery as looks like this was very close to going completly flat. since we have put a new 90 amp battery in all works fine. my mechanic has changed the spark plugs but said they looked ok and full service. changed the dizzy cap and found they the king lead was not in great shape...

Euro car parts oil filter,air filter

Hi does anybody know if the air filter and oil filter on the euro car parts website listed under Mazda bongo are right for the v6 engine

Also can anyone recommend some spark plugs best for v6 but with lpg

thanks all for the responses when it happened on sunday it was already switched to petrol (just petrol) as that it what it was running on from when i stopped it on the drive. lpg has just had service in december so happened in november and now end of december so dont think it is the lpg. run flash l...

Yes has only done this when cold. Also yes when firing up on petrol. Petrol should not have gone off as normally have quarter of a tank in there and top up every month or to so should not be a issue.

Don't think lpg is an issue

Thanks for replies V6 with lpg We have looked at distributed cap before as had issues of cutting out when going through large puddles so might be worth looking at that. Looked OK and does not appear to have any ingress of water but might be worth changing that as well Can I pick them up cheap Cheers...

Bongo sometimes does not fire up V6

Ok this happened twice now. About 2 months ago bongo would turn over but not fire up. Tried several times and just would not fire up. Turns over but no fire. Mechanic came round two days later and started fine. Then yesterday same thing although semi firing up. Tried for 10mins to get going. As away...

i had this on one of mine. just drilled holes in bottom and top to allow water to run out. never had it fill up with water or condensation since

had this last year. boys at ads bleed brake fluid and checked pad. turned out to be the master cylinder was faulty/leaking. replaced for £50 on ebay and now sorted.

only thing to check is if u have abs or not as this will affect which type u need

hi there. i have had bongo for 4 years now and over the last 5 month have had the same problems with puddles. problem is hard to replicate. we have tray etc. have checked dissy cap. no apparent problems. sprayed up everything with wd40 still problem. we have even had engine running and srayed water ...
