It's my Bongo that they will be using this coming weekend. I will provide details after filming. I can reveal that the presenter is Michael Smiley. See http://m.imdb.com/name/nm0806968/

Air conditioning refrigerant leak
Hi folks. I just had the aircon guy out to the house to refill the refrigerant because the Bongo wasn't cooling in our tremendously hot weather! He discovered that the system wasn't holding refrigerant, and the gas was escaping. He will return to do a high-pressure test, to determine the source of t...

Hi Samantha.
We like Rushin House in Fermanagh; but you'd be best to avoid it while President Putin is swimming in Lough Erne!

Re: newbie from belfast
Hi folks. There are a few of us around. I live in Belfast.
We met up at Ikea for the Bongo Fury 10th anniversary bash, and talked about a weekend away this summer.
Feel free to email or pm me. Let's also make better use of this board.
Good wishes from Leon

Re: Insulation ?
I've put bitumen in the doors for sound deadening, and sound insulation in between the damp membrane and the door cards.
I'd love to see photos of yours (please).

Re: Reverse light bulb
Thank you; I thought so.
I have a T10 single-LED side light at the moment; but it's rather dull.
I was wondering if anyone has managed to brighten up the side lights significantly by installing bright LEDs??

Re: Reverse light bulb
Is the bulb mentioned by Mike (see below) street legal for side lights?

Re: HOLD light and seized brake caliper
Well, eight months later, we think we have the problem licked. After fitting a new brake caliper some time ago, we thought we had it fixed; but the HOLD still came on occasionally, with no reasonable explanation why. We were told by an auto transmission specialist that the problem was definitely not...

Re: Roof sensors
Hi folks. I recently had the very happy but rare experience of getting my AFT roof to close in one go, with the requisite pause in the middle, forced by the sensor. I also put WD40 on the struts. It still creaks a bit in raising and lowering. Would grease on the runners help? Thanks for all the advi...

Re: N Ireland
Burnside Garage just outside of Coleraine is excellent for Bongos, if you can get there!
Mervyn is the mechanic there who knows about Bongos.

Re: Roof sensors
Thanks, guys. Does this mean that the motors always stop when the roof is half-way down and the roller hits the microswitch mid-way through its travel? If it doesn't continue to lower after that, then perhaps this mid-way switch is the source of the problem? There is nothing worse than being on a ca...
