New battery in France
Hi all- I am in France at the moment where with temperatures of -22 (and leaving my lights on...) my battery has shockingly died! I'm trying to order a new one on the internet as locally in Chamonix they are 150 Euros plus. I have tried ordering on that great Bosch offer from the UK but for H&S ...

Which winter tyres from www.123pneus.fr ? (I'm in France)
HI all= I'm currently down in Chamonix, France where I have been for the past few weeks. I had hoped to get back to the UK before needing winter tyres, but as the snow is coming this weekend, not going to happen! Basically, my 2wd Bongo is currently running on 195/70/15's (100h)all round (put on by ...

Re: Fitting Willinton Kit
Well, I have managed to fit it- whoop whoop!! You see, the issue is that nowhere on the instructions does it say that you fit the bolts from INSIDE the cab....I've been trying to do it from the engine bay...hence why I found trying to tighten the bottom screw particularly awkward. The penny dropped ...

Fitting Willinton Kit

Willinton Kit fitting- hints and tips
Hi all- based on the very sound advice found in this forum & the lack of availablility for local auto-lecs to fit a leisure battery for me- I have taken the plunge and ordered a Willinton Kit. It scares me quite frankly, ever so slightly, but I am going to take the plunge and try to fit it mysel...

Re: New starter battery advice
In case anyone in the area is interested, i got an Excide 249 100AH battery from Christchurch Tyre Co fully fitted for £88 which, having done some internet trawling today seemed a pretty good deal... think I'll be back soon for tyres...
