I have checked the small filter again and again but its intermittent so it would do it all the time if it was blocked.
Just got in from work and it started first time and pulled fine.
All bulbs on dash work, so no ECU faults recorded.
Anyone had as said above valve clearance problem OR auto box ...

Re: Ongoing Lack of Power Problem 2.5TD (Video Inside)
100% not brakes, I can tell the difference between engine power loss and drag power loss.
It could be fuel BUT having stripped and rebuilt a Diesal pump off one of these (not the one on my van) there isent much which could cause an intermittent power loss.
Anyone had experience with valve clearances?

Re: Help - No Power (losing the will to live with it)
Tried 3 brands of fuel filter all over a space of 2 weeks.
I have removed said pipe as I read in a earlier post, cleaned checked etc
Tank removed, drained inc presuring the lines for leaks
I will add out of gear she will rev free as a bird
I am in Oldham, Manchester

Advice on rebuilding diesel pump........
Hi,
With still having problems with my bongo, I have ordered a rebuild kit for the diesel pump.
I have a spare engine and I have removed the pump which I am going to overhaul.
Anyone done it before? Any advice, tourqe settings, things to look out for etc
Any advice welcome

I have a Bongo with a 2.5TD which is doing my head in now.
Hooked up my car trailer the other day and drove a few miles with a car on the back and it became sluggish between 1000-2500 until the turbo kits in then its fine, even to the point where on a hill it would not rev over ...

Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem.

Bongo was given a full service 3 day prev's.
Found the problem to be a lack of fuel to the engine.
After alot of searching/fault finding i found the problem to ...
