Yep does that. I did use an inline filter from ebay cheap and better. Best use a cloth and bud to really screw out the gauze. I always vacuum the hole also incase of and escaping bits falling in.

ANyone know where i can get a new strainer, i just cleaned mine and it made a huge difference to performance and economy so would like to get a new one as it's been running on veg oil for last 60,000 miles and prob got a bit of dirt still on.

Hi simon. I tried to get the small kador bead to fit , however it would not go in? I gave it a load of tries and sat on the roof trying to git it to bite in but no way it would go in, but slotted straight into kador rail at front.

i have 160 watts on my system 100w semi flexible on roof and 60w folding panel that can track.
Problem with roof panel is that when up it don't get that much light if not positioned right (i use drive away awning so don't move)
consequently i leave the roof down in day till dusk to get more charge ...
