Re: roll call for Yorkshire and North East

Re: Fitting alloy wheels

They are currently on my other car-a mondeo estate. But i did want to fit them on my Bongo. How much does it cost to machine out the wheels or is there another option?

Fitting alloy wheels

Hi i have a set of 18" team dynamics Monza R wheels. I tried them today but although the stud pattern is right, the centre of the hub is slightly too big for the hole in the centre of the wheel. Do i need to fit spacers or i have seen on ebay spigot rings? What do i need to make these wheels fit?

Cheap paint is usually the cause of oxidisation and other problems along with bad application. It will not show up as much on laquer though. If you use...

Re: A few rust spots - any advice?

I agree if the paint is just dull and oxidised it would be possible to machine polish it, if anyone needs a machine polish in the North East just let me know as i have a polishing machine. As regards to just laquering, it would be possible as long as the paintwork is in reasonable nick, it would inv...

Re: A few rust spots - any advice?

I would be very surprised if the rust has penetrated into the inner a post un less there has been some serious damage in that area. i would advise though taking out the front screen when the repairs are carried out or you will always have problems no matter what you do. I have never heard of paint p...

Re: New Reversing Bulb

yep, works exactly as courtesy light as soon as the door is opened, i looked at joining wiring at interior light but this was much easier. I also left a bit length on wires so you could remove the jack cover and use it as a light if required.
