Hi Helen,
What is an Origo Stove ? If it heats your awning, you will not need it in Hungary in July!

Re: 2013 Foreign "Get together with the Russian Bongo Club"
Hi Helen and Spike,
We do not have any plans yet for the end of July period. We called in to the east end of the lake on our way back from Bulgaria in 2011. We enjoyed all the campsites we stayed on in Hungary.

Ice cream in Skipton sounds good for us in February. Brrr.... the first blast of winter hit our side of the Pennines on Friday.
Hope to be there.

Harry, Thanks for organising the event. Hope you raised plenty of money for Kendal Mountain Rescue. It was great to meet up with everyone. Thank you all for being so friendly and making us welcome. We also tried the take away curry from Silverdale since our BBQ skills are not too good. Excellent mea...

Re: The Trip, photos, and reports
Hi all, Thank you all for your advice. I have put some of our pictures on Picasa, so now all I need to do is transfer them to these forum pages. I will try 4 pictures at a time later today or tomorrow. Our Bongo has been in the garage for the last week having the rear differential and a front wheel ...

Re: The Trip, photos, and reports
Help! It does not look very easy to put my photos on the forum site since they are on my PC. I don't understand the suggestion in faq. Any suggestions for a quick method of achieving this?

Re: The Trip, photos, and reports
Hi everyone,
At long last we have sorted out our photos from the trip.
However I am not sure how to post the pictures on this forum page. I will look for instructions, so watch this space.
Chris - We are on for any trip next year.
Regards,
Hil & Phil

Re: Autumn Bash 30th Sept - 2nd Oct at Silverdale
Hi, We have just noticed the NW get-together at Silverdale on the Forum. We did not manage to get there last year, but having just returned from the Bongo Bash in Bulgaria we just want to carry on Bongoing........, so we would like to attend. We do not need electric hook-up. Do we need to send a che...

Re: Final Arrangements
Hi all, We have already set off and reached Austria yesterday (14th July). We had a good run from the ferry terminal at Dunkirk except for roadworks north of Brussels on the RO ringroad. This caused about 30 minutes delay, so I suggest you all add in this to your timings because the work will will s...

Chris, re:Fuel Consumption/costs I toured Germany last month in my Freda and did about 4000 miles. I spent about £700 on diesel fuel. We were loaded up with an awning tent, cooking gear, deck chairs, table and clothes etc. and the two of us. We have the 2.5 diesel 4wd automatic version. On a long ru...

Re: Trip Details
Hi Helen, I have just checked the Forum site and I think that you may have indicated that we wanted to book night 4 at Salisteanca. In fact we do not require this booking as we have already made arrangements for this night elsewhere in Romania. We hope to meet up with the other Bongos en route betwe...
