Re: intermittent starting problem
I had this last year after changing the exhaust middle section - plus some strange clicking sounds from the glow plug relay. So after replacing the relay thinking that was faulty - and to no avail - I checked around the center part of the exhaust and I'd pretty much broken and earth strap down there...

Re: Am I missing something -- Fiamma
The F35 is the manual pull out variant - the F45 has the crank handle which winds out from the van. Usually you'll need the 2.5m or 2.6m for the Bongo ( I have a 2.6m on mine) Don't think I've seen anyone with a privacy room for the f35 but I'm sure they do them. Good point on the weight and packed ...

Re: North West Autumn Bash & Beer/Cider festival 2015
Thanks for a great weekend Harry and letting us join so late, the back drop to the site was just breath taking - A really beautiful site! I had to let the better half drive home though - my head is still sore from both the alcohol and smacking my head on the center console :( Everyone is always so h...

Re: Steering wheel removal
Rubber hammer sorted my non airbag steering wheel when I recently replaced the steering rack. It took a fair few cracks to get it off though!

Re: Blue Diamond Camping Toilet
I'm starting to feel really sad now - just been researching the different sizes - this may help http://www.thetford-europe.com/product/ ... -qube-145/ not sure to go with the 335 now (more compact), but for an extra £30 is it worth it????

Re: Blue Diamond Camping Toilet
I was looking at these myself a couple of weeks ago at go outdoors in Sheffield, the Thetford (165 I think) was next to it they looked very similar in size etc. I think there was only about £10 difference - Personally I think I'm going for the proven Thetford for the extra £10

Re: Which size Fiamma awning?
Here's my F45i 2.5m in action at the weekend in the Cotswolds I must admit I have the VW brackets and they're not really up to the job. I plan to upgrade to a new matt black 2.6m fiamma shortly so thanks for the link Simon =D> Shame the original mazda ones are as rare as hens teeth! http://i290.phot...

Re: Attached or driveaway awning - pros and cons
Just another quick vote for the fiamma all the way! Best accessory I've purchased. We got a drive away awning with the Bongo and in 5 years I've used it once - far too much "faffing" around and would cause arguments before we started. It's been in the loft ever since! The fiamma awning is ...

Re: Alternative Cat Flap. ACF
Hi Everyone, I just completed this mod today and wanted to add a quick note of thanks for everyone who's added any info. It made the whole process much easier and I can now get some heat in the roof much easier! Very simple process really, release the board from the top of the van (all 10mm nuts and...

Re: Adding heating to interior!
Eberespacher fully fitted and it’s brilliant! - I'm very happy with it. I paid £400 for a year old D2 - with everything, I took a bit of a gamble with ebay but I didn't want to either pay the new price or pick up a tiered BT example for £150. The fitting is very simple in my opinion, most of my time...

Re: Can you facelift a Bongo?!
I've been thinking about giving the front end a new look for some time, Looking at the pictures I'm guessing new headlights, bumper, grill and the little inserts under the headlights is enough to complete the front end upgrade??Is this correct? Are the front wings the same on both the older and face...
