Re: Stimson Explorer Kit
We have had a Stimson for 3 years, my husband swears by it. We have made some modifications over time, eg we now also carry a stand (former Workmate with the top bits removed)which brings it to correct height, we have removed the cool box and store a kettle and toaster in it for travelling, and he ...

Re: Disaster! Very ill Bongo - 2 litre
we bought the van less than 3 years ago, it only comes out in the summers and we have done about 10k miles in it since buying. it was bought from Wheelquick in Wigan who I know did put a new one on before we took delivery, they double checked it when we collected it and I have no reason to doubt ...

Re: Disaster! Very ill Bongo - 2 litre

Just sorry we didn't get it towed there first off as we had to pay for the second journey. But ...

Disaster! Very ill Bongo - 2 litre
Our lovely Bongo, which has run like a dream for 3 years, broke down yesterday, on the way home from being priced up as a part ex against a new one! the engine just died as it was travelling. husband pulled over immediately, and it was duly towed to our very reliable local garage. Mechanic has had a ...

Re: Bring Me a Bongo
If it helps, we looked at Bringmeabongo as they are not too far from us and were very impressed with the quality of the units, well made and all fitted very well etc. We decided in the end to buy an unconverted to see how it went, and we have stayed that way as that is what suits us. I know they do ...

Re: Beautiful Interiors
Ooh I love the electric blanket idea as well, and the handmade blanket sounds fab. I have bunting permanently strung along the non-sliding side, and some lovely cushions which I find are essential to get comfy when sitting on bench seats. However it is very easy to get carried away and there's not a ...

Cornbury Festival anyone?
we are going to Cornbury Festival weekend after next, our first venture to a music festival in our beloved Bongo, just wondered if we were likely to see any other Bongonauts on the campervan field there?
