Re: Roof gas struts

Cheers all just picked up a set from Wales, I had removed and serviced my roof motors and still had a slow roof so hopefully these struts will sort it out :-)

Re: Removing roof motors

Yes thanks I read that post detailing the servicing of the motors and it is what I will follow. What I need to know is how to get the motors out if anyone can help with that? :D

Removing roof motors

Hi all my bongo has recently had trouble getting the roof to raise, it has gradually gotten slower and slower to the point of hardly raising at all. I am going to attempt to service the motors myself (unless anyone has any other suggestions?) and if I can't then I will have to source some new units....

Glow plug relay replacement very cheap!

Hi all I have recently had trouble with my glow plug relay which packed in and was draining my battery. After a search online and seeing the extortionate prices these go for I found that a Ford Ranger relay is an exact match for the Mazda Bongo one. Quick trip to my local 4x4 centre with £10 and it ...

Main battery charge

Hi all, can anyone tell me if when on a hook up your main battery gets charged or just the leisure? hardly used my bongo lately as I am always on a motorbike and the battery has died twice in the last week. Got it hooked up at home not sure whether that will give it a charge or not.
