Re: Under Cabinet Lighting

Nice find! I've been looking for something exactly like this. I tried hiding my led strip behind a small aluminium extrusion but it cut out too much light. This will be perfect.

Re: Rocknroll bed on runners?

Cheers for the info guys. I was hoping it might be possible on just a pair of runners but I take your point about the problems of attaching the front and rear sections of the bed. Perhaps it's time to look into adapting a set of seats instead, the bed we have at the moment is noting special anyway a...

Rocknroll bed on runners?

Hi, Does anyone know if it's possible to get a rocknroll bed safely (ie with seatbelts for two) installed on the bongo runners? I bought my bongo a couple of years ago and it came with a decent enough side conversion + RnR and I still love it. However, when travelling it means all out stuff has to b...

Wiring into AFT

does anyone know where the wiring for the AFT light comes into the roofspace? I can't see anything obvious along the sides, I assume it's all hidden under the headlining? I really just need the entry point so that I can change the power source and add some connections.

TIA

Re: Auto Disco Top

Fantastic! So glad you posed this up. I've just ordered a set to keep the boys entertained, it'd be rude not to :-) Did you just stick them to the front of the aluminium tent extrusion? And can you direct me to the hole that feeds the upstairs light? I had a quick look but I couldn't see where the w...

Re: Waeco CF35 - Voltage Drop Problem

Well that was an unusual problem to solve. I was measuring the difference between the terminal voltage and the voltage at the din plug that the fridge will see. With the original wiring I would see a ~0.5volt drop at the terminals (to around 12.4v) when the compressor came on, this would drop to aro...

Re: Waeco CF35 - Voltage Drop Problem

Thanks for the help and its given me something to check, perhaps it's the solar charge controller cutting off the juice when it detects the drop...? I've set the fridge to cut of at the low position but due to the drop it's not low enough! and the drop seems to be pretty constant after the compresso...

Waeco CF35 - Voltage Drop Problem

Hi, Just a quick question to try and sort out what is going wrong with my waeco CF35fridge. I had quite a big voltage drop running to my fridge making it cut out quickly if running from the leisure battery alone. So after checking with an online voltage drop calculator, I rewired the connection with...

Re: Memory foam roof mattress cut to size?

No problem, it was £10 to have it cut to size. They've done quite a few so should have the template, if not I've got one as a pdf that you can send them.

Re: Memory foam roof mattress cut to size?

This is where I bought my topper, cut to shape:

When I rang it sounded like they'd done quite a few for bongo's in the past.

Re: Rear light wiring loom.

Cheers Simon. did you get them all to come on with a single switch? I was hoping to tap into the wiring loom somewhere relatively accessible, to make the light come on with the with the others but retain the ability to switch it off independently.

Rear light wiring loom.

Does anyone know what route the wiring room to the small rectangular rear light (the one on the right hand side by the rear door) takes and ideally an easy way to access it? I'd like to link it to another couple of lights that I've installed so that they can all be switched on together.

Re: voltage sensing split charge relay

That'll do the job with a couple of inline fuses etc but it seems a little pricey. I've just got one of those VSRs for a project I'm working on, from here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/0-727-33-DURITE-12V-140A-SPLIT-CHARGE-INTELLIGENT-RELAY-/110747372068?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=it...
