appears to be fixed now.... temp / fan sensor under seat not properly attached; hopefully problem solved. Air con also now pumping warm air - handy, as it's not that warm here in switzerland at the moment!

non working temp guage but fan kicks in immediately

Bonjour! In switzerland. Two problems.
1. temperature gauge not moving.
2. fan kicks in immediately

no coolant level problems...level has remained static.

mechanical brother on hand if anyone can advise on what / where to check.


Have disconnected fan (removed fuse) to check - engine comes up to ...

clear glass headlights - how to adapt?

I have some eurolite adapters for the headlights, but as I have clear glass headlights there are no lines to work out where to put them. The website says I should go to a MOT test centre and use a headlight alignment machine ..... but I'm going Thursday and am at work - don't know how I'll fit that ...

Doh! :oops: Let the tyres down to fit Max the Van in the garage for winter. Re filled tyres once in garage. Had to let them down again to get it out. Pumped back up again, but can't remember what to pump them up to. Japanese manual no help - it's in japanese!

What should the tyre pressures be? I ...

With the information about the ability to get on earlier trains if you arrive early, then I think I shall just book one and see what time I get there and how I feel...

Euro Tunnel in the bongo

Hi

Wondering if anyone has bongoed the Euro Tunnel?

Off for a month in Switzerland / France in Max Bongo this summer. I have lots of Tesco clubcard vouchers, and could pay for euro tunnel completely (i.e. travel for free, instead of buying ferry ticket.)

There seem to be a list of requirements ...
