Re: 7 days till departure to france/spain - advice required

Hi, I visited my villa in Alicante last August. I used the Eurotunnel for the crossings. It was very fast. I did price the Samtander crossing but found it rather expensive. I mainly used the Autopista's and paid the tolls. They are a good way of travelling distance quickly and comfortably. Paris is ...

Re: MOT Test Centre, Moray area

I went to DLM this morning. Two hours later a shiny new MOT pass with flying colours, thanks! =D> :D

I made sure to mention who recommended them. I too would recommend them to any local Bongonauts needing an MOT done. Great job.

MOT Test Centre, Moray area

Hi guys,

Do any of you know a good MOT test station in the Moray area that do MOT's on Bongo's? I am willing to look further but the closer to Elgin the better for me.

Cheers,
Thomas.

Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival 2011, April 28 - 2 May

I know that many of the members enjoy a nice wee dram so I thought that we could look at having a wee meet during the weekend of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky festival at the end of April 2011. There's a lot on during the festival including access to some distilleries that are normally closed to vis...

Re: Age, mileage, price conundrum

I got mine from Dicksons of Perth. They have a few low mileage vehicles. Mine had 19,500 on it when I bought it and it was in showroom condition. Most of there stock was un-converted though. They do have a website you could check out first. http://www.dicksonsmotorgroup.co.uk

Re: free camping?

If your going to Skye then you have to check out the Quirang in the North of the Island and Elgol in the South. You can rough camp on the road to Elgol. Theres a big loch with plenty of stops bythe side of it on the road to Elgol. I would suggest stopping at the Quirang and checking out the sunrise ...

The guy at the campsite informed me that it was to prevent people misusing their axes. It took a minute for me to realise he meant they were chopping down the trees and not each other!

Re: Glencoe meet. September 25 / 26

Hi guys, I've finally got home. I couldn't drive until 4.30pm. It must have been something I ate. My mates and I had a cracking time (too good some may say). The weather was fine albeit a little cold in the evening. My photos will be added later possibly tomorrow. Hope to meet up again soon! ...
