Re: 'All Scotland' meet?

If we get potential numbers then maybe we could contact the Clachaig or the Kinghouse and ask them if we could stay in their carpark overnight. If they see the potential extra business as a plus then they may welcome it.

Re: 'All Scotland' meet?

Rough camping in Glencoe sounds fine to me. Somewhere near the pub sounds fine too. I can do the weekend of 25th Sep or the following weekend of 2nd Oct. The 18th Sep may be difficult due to work commitments.

My Speedo reads out as well. It is out by about 6mph (66mph on speedo = 60 mph).

Re: LB stuffed?

My central locking doesn't work on every occassion either. Turn the key and it works fine, the next time nothing. I thought it may have been due to the snow we had here last week but wasn't sure if it was something else. Is it a common problem? Is it easily sorted? I don't have an LB.

Re: Day meet - Inverness shire?

I'm Bongoing to Orkney the following weekend (19th June). I could meet up late afternoon of 29th or 30th May if that suits anyone as I'm on nightshift that weekend. A few hours meet and a BBQ could be had one of those days. I'm also available during the week as most of my days off fall during the we...

Re: Day meet - Inverness shire?

How does the 12th or 13th June suit? Answers on a postcard please!

I appreciate that it's a little far off but I only get two weekends off in five and I'm guessing the weekends would suit most people better. If not this weekend, then 17th/18th July is an alternative for me.

Re: roll call?

Cheers guys. The Bongo will allow me to get more photos, including ones of the Bongo in various locations (may not make it onto my own site though) and some landscapes from the Sutherland/Caithness area. There are some nice wee spots around there but I just love the West Coast and am often drawn in ...

Re: Day meet - Inverness shire?

Roseisle in the summer would be ace. A BBQ, game of baseball and swim/paddle in the sea. They have bbqs there so you only need to take food. Could meet at a Forres or Elgin supermarket beforehand. You can camp there overnight and they have a toilet block too.
